But we are making an exception in this instance for one reason: Over perhaps a dozen real estate transactions covering many years, Mary Ann Elliott is far and away the best realtor with whom we have worked. We found her to be smart, enterprising, diligent, and forthright both with us and with those on the other side of our transaction. The best thing we did was to take her advice at every step along the way. And if she made a commitment, she always followed through. We were not, by a long measure, her only clients. But at every stage, we felt as if we were. She rates however many stars there are to award.
